Series “Crossing”

It tries to show 2020. It was a very important year when the information about COVID was confusing and many people fought for equality, against racism, gender discrimination and for LGBT people via the Internet.

Then, what happens in different layers on the surface is merged into one layer, and expressed in a flat everyday landscape.

There is a famous saying of Takeshi Kitano, also Japanese film director :

“If everyone crosses the red light together, there is nothing to fear.”

This was also one of the inspirations of Léo Yamada.
