Tedd Nash Pomaski
Tedd Nash Pomaski was born in Hawaii in 1975, to an American father and a Vietnamese mother, who emigrated to the states several years earlier. He attended the famous Rhode Island School of Design, where he studied architecture, textiles and painting.
During his many years living and working in New York City, his artworks were featured and consigned in Chelsea, a NYC neighbourhood famous for its world-class galleries and a thriving art scene. He moved to Hanoi in early 2015 to meet his family, and explore his mother’s cultural roots.
Working in a variety of media, and ranging from abstraction to photo-realism, Pomaski’s work is, at it’s core, about the passing of time, and moments of transition between life and death, creation and destruction, volume and void.
Since his first exhibition of paintings, at the age of nineteen, he has exhibited works around the world, including shows in NYC, Tokyo, Turin, London and Miami.
He remains based in Hanoi, in the old Wildflower Village beneath West Lake (Ho Tay).
TiA Talent has the honour to collaborate with CHAU & CO Gallery in Vietnam to represent artist Tedd Nash Pomaski in France.
