Attente

Description

“Attente” is a unique artwork by  Christèle Lefay.

We  work directly with artists and guarantee the authenticity and provenance of our artworks.

“This vegetation that we trample on every day and to which we no longer pay attention is here represented in XXL format under the effect of a microscope to better observe it.
The grasses are thus personified. They are living organisms. They interact between them, release molecules, information.

By lending them a human aspect, I allot them a statute which makes it possible to accentuate their usefulness. The title also contributes to give them an action here, “attente” means waiting.

To look closer to understand this sensitive nature where a whole ecosystem is hidden behind some ecosystem is hidden behind a few grasses.”
