About Artist :

Ulzii-Orshikh Batzaya was born in 1995 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He started studying at Mongolian Fine Art Academy in 2013 and from 2015 to 2020, he was a student at Vietnam University of Fine Art and attain a bachelor’s degree in fine art. He’s currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

Art is a door to another world for Batzaya. He wants people who see his works to understand and come into his world. He gets his inspiration mostly from his own works, those he has done or while he’s working on it. Likewise, he uses oil, watercolour, and lacquer for his paints. It’s like “Nuudel” one after one. He loves his country’s Nomadic culture. He uses his gift to spread this culture to the world and the next generations and hopes this beautiful culture will stay with his country forever.
